1. Create your account and add your family
Sign up once, then add each child. The Get started page shows what's left to do.
Create your account
- Choose Create a free account.
- Enter your name, email, mobile, a password of at least 8 characters, your address and postcode. Your postcode is how Tumble finds what's near you.
- Agree to the terms and privacy policy. Activity ideas and offers by email are optional, and off unless you tick them.
Add each child (Family admin > My children)
- Add their name, date of birth and, if you like, their school and year group.
- Fill in their profile once: allergies, medical conditions and medication, dietary and additional needs, emergency contacts, who may collect them, whether they may leave alone, and photo consent.
- Photo consent and medical questions can be answered yes, no, or left unanswered. Tumble never assumes.
- Set a collection password if you like. The provider sees it on the register only when they tap to check it.
Every provider you book on Tumble receives what they need from this profile, so you never fill in another registration form.
Add your household (Family admin > Household sharing)
- Co-parent: shares the family's bookings, calendar and children.
- Carer, such as a grandparent or nanny: helps with the family's week, but can't see money, payments or referrals.
- Each child has their own colour on the calendar.
- Already have your own Tumble family? When you join another household you can merge the two, and the parents confirm any children who appear twice.
Messages (the chat icon in the top bar)
Message providers and people you're buying from, chat with your co-parent and carers about pick-ups, swapped days and shared costs, and see booking updates, all on one page.
Keep it safe and choose your emails (Account > Your account)
- Turn on two-step sign-in with an authenticator app.
- Choose whether you get Tumble newsletters, emails from providers you've booked, and whether booked providers see your email address.
- Close your account at any time. Clear any balance and recurring payments first.
