    Diana Memorial Playground

Opens 10:00. Sensory trail, sand and the pirate galleon. Adults must be with a child aged 12 or under.

One of London's most famous playgrounds — a huge wooden pirate galleon, a treehouse, an under-3s zone, strong wheelchair-accessible equipment, and a redesigned water-play area with raised water and sand play tables (part of a £3m 2025/26 renewal).

    Serpentine Bar & Kitchen

Early lunch on the lake; baby changing and accessible toilets.

A lakeside cafe-restaurant on the Serpentine next to the Hyde Park boathouse, serving breakfast, wood-fired pizzas, fish and chips and grab-and-go food for picnics. It has baby changing and accessible toilets, so it works as the lunch base for a boating-and-playground day in Hyde Park.

    Water Activities · 12:50–13:20 (30m)

Hyde Park Boating on the Serpentine

A 30-minute pedalo. Under-3s free; buoyancy kit and accessible boats with a hoist available.

Rowing boats and pedalos for hire on the Serpentine lake in the middle of Hyde Park, with a winter service on Wednesdays to Sundays. Under-3s go free and there are accessible boats with a hoist. A good way to break up a walk between the Diana Memorial Playground and the museums of South Kensington.
