The Elf Explorer
A Victorian Christmas street and a live elf show at Oxenhope, followed by an hour-long steam trip with a visit from Santa and a present for each child. There is a lot of singing and audience participation, so it lands best with children of roughly three and up, though babies are accommodated. Advance booking is required and the experience takes around two hours in total.

- 28 Nov – 24 Dec — Departures at 09.00, 10.30, 12.15, 13.45 and 15.15 on selected dates: 28 & 29 November, 5, 6, 12, 13 and 19-24 December 2026. The whole experience lasts about two hours. Dates are selected days rather than a continuous run. The railway also runs Mince Pie Specials from 26 December to 3 January and a Carol Service Train on 12 December.
