Santa Express Experience
A narrow-gauge steam train ride of about 40 minutes up the Eskdale Valley, starting with elf-led storytelling in the railway museum at Ravenglass and finishing at Santa's grotto at Dalegarth, where children receive a gift. It runs on selected weekend dates in November and December plus the run-up to Christmas. Tickets must be booked online and this one sells out early most years.
