Christmas at Beamish
Beamish dresses its 1820s, 1900s, 1940s and 1950s areas for Christmas every day from late November to Christmas Eve. It is a large outdoor open-air museum with indoor buildings to duck into, so it works as a full day out but needs proper footwear and warm clothes. The Father Christmas grotto is booked and paid for separately from general admission.
