Roman Army Museum

A compact, hands-on museum next to the Magna fort site on Hadrian's Wall, run by the Vindolanda Trust, telling the story of the Roman soldier. It has a short film, replica armour and a holographic 'classroom', and one of the best surviving stretches of the Wall is a short walk away.
