Rhuddlan Castle

Castle

Rhuddlan Castle

A concentric Edwardian castle on the River Clwyd a few miles inland from Rhyl, with a deep dry moat and twin-towered gatehouses. It is compact and quieter than the big coastal castles, which suits younger children. The site is on Cadw's seasonal schedule.
