Llanberis Lake Railway

A small narrow-gauge steam railway running along the shore of Llyn Padarn from Gilfach Ddu in Padarn Country Park, using engines that once worked in the Dinorwig slate quarries. The return trip is about five miles and takes roughly an hour, with views across to Dolbadarn Castle and the mountains.
