Jeppe Hein's Appearing Rooms, Southbank Centre

An interactive fountain sculpture by Danish artist Jeppe Hein whose jets form 'rooms' of water that appear and disappear; a Southbank summer fixture since 2007. Shoes and a T-shirt or rash vest over swimwear are recommended for children. When: Summer (2026: 17 June–31 August, 10am–9pm, closed Mondays and Tuesdays except 31 August).
